Hey guys!

Sorry it's been a while...I've been vacation-ing in Arizona! And it was so fun!  I took so many pictures and I wanted to share them with you all!

Day 1:

We had a red eye flight and din't end up getting to the vacation house until about 2:30 am (which is 4:30 am MN time).  This is the view when I woke up in the morning.  So beautiful!  It also started off HOT!

Day 2:

We went for a walk early in the morning, and then headed to the Mesa Flea Market, which was pretty cool and filled with a whole bunch of random knick knacks,  Then we went back to the house, and lounged by the pool for a couple of hours.  I definitely got sunburnt while being there.

Day 3:

We went to the Phoenix Zoo! Lots of birds, bugs, turtles, camels, sheep, an even a rare albino rhino just to name a few!  And including this tranquil paradise water feature :) it was HOT HOT HOT out so this was nice to see.

Day 4:

Woke up at 6 am to climb Silly Mountain!  It doesn't look like much but trust me, with a trail called Huff N' Puff, I was definitely huffing and puffing.

Day 5:

This day was the day we went to the GRAND CANYON!  It was grander than I could have ever imagined.  Absolutely beautiful.  This is a MUST SEE.  I also thought it was cool that even just walking through, I could hear so many different languages being spoken.  Very cool.

Day 6:

On the way back to Phoenix, we drove through Sedona, and all of the red rocks,  It was so beautiful!  I wish we would've had more time here - maybe next time, I'll spend at least a couple of days here!

Day 7:

On the last full day here, we stopped in Tortilla Flats, and let me tell you, the drive there was soooo windy up and down the mountains, but the view to see Canyon Lake was so worth it.  We also stopped for the famous Pickle Pear Gelato in Tortilla Flats.  It tasted....interesting.  It kind of had a slight fruity taste, but I wasn't a huge fan of the after taste (as you can tell by my face in that picture LOL)

Then it was time to come back to the land of 10,000 lakes.
I had so much fun and it was good to have a nice, little vacation, but it's good to be home.

Hope you've had a lovely week!  What're you up to this weekend?
