Hey guys!

So...I'm moving!  I know this came up SUPER fast so I'm still trying to get everything together and process this myself.  SO let me start at the beginning...

I have been looking for a new job for a while because I wanted to get into a different field and kind of felt like I was in a rut.  So I was doing a lot of job searching over the course of a couple of months, and after many phone interviews, and a couple of in person interviews (with no luck), I had almost given up looking for a new job.  Then I saw a job posting that seemed right up my alley, applied and after a bout a month of interviews (there were 3 total), I got a job offer.  Only problem is that it is on the other side of the Twin Cities.  Then it was crunch time: I had a month to find a place, sign a lease, buy all the furniture, and move in before I start my new job.  My new job is in Minneapolis so I was looking around there.  I also knew that I definitely did NOT want to drive into downtown Minneapolis (for obvious reason - traffic, parking, construction, ect, etc).  So I wanted to find a place that was close to public transportation.  I found a couple of places that seemed pretty nice (and not TOO expensive).  I only actually toured one of them and 1 and a half weeks later I signed the lease.

SO now I have been crazy busy buying all of the furniture and other various bits and bobs that I would need in my new apartment.  I have only ever lived away from home during college, but I always had roommates who purchased most of the things.  So I have found myself in the position where I need to buy pretty much everything!  Like pots and pans, silverware, toilet paper, a TV, a COUCH.  Whenever I buy one of those big ticket items, I have to keep reminding myself that it is only a one time big purchase and that I won't need to buy one of them for a while.  SO now I am spending the most time this past week cleaning my room at home, decluttering, and packing my life away in boxes.  It is going to be kind of sad moving away from home because it is a place that I have been for so long and so many memories made here.  But I am excited too!  One good thing is that I am not too far way that I will still obviously come visit often.

So anyways, I'm moving.  I hope this blogpost even made sense...I kind of feel like it is a big brain dump where I am just typing the words that come into my head and not even checking to make sure that it makes all that much sense.  But hey!  That's what I'm good at LOL.

Next time I'll talk to you, I will be sitting in my brand new apartment!  Which I am SOOOOO excited for.  Maybe I'll do a home haul/tour either on here or on my YouTube channel.  Let me know if you would like to see something like that :)

Talk soon x
