UPDATE | 2.18.18

Hey all,

Can you believe that February is almost over with?!  I'm not complaining though because that means one day closer to spring and summer.  This has been a very cold and gloomy winter and I am so ready for it to be over with.

What have I been up to?  Hmmm...what have I been up to...

I spent Valentine's Day weekend with my boyfriend.  We rented this super cute hotel in downtown Minneapolis and I surprised him with tickets to the MN Wild hockey game.  (which he LOVED by the way!).  He had been hinting for months that we should go to one together because he has never been to one.  So I kind of had to.  It was so much fun!  We got some tasty sandwiches, and then shared a ice cream that came in a hemet for the dish.  Plus the Wild won 3-0 so that is always fun :)

I've been working.  A lot.  Almost too much.  I feel like I'm going to get burnt out soon if I don't take a break soon.  Luckily I have Monday off to catch up on some stuff I have been meaning to do for a while.  I am trying to declutter my room for starters.  I still live at home with my parents, and so I keep all my stuff in my bedroom.  I also realize that I have way too much stuff and when I move out, I want to be ready and have all the junk I don't need out of the way.  Speaking of which, my birthday also happened.  I am officially 24 years old.  Only one more year until I'm a quarter of a century.  Uffda.  I feel old.  My boyfriend took me out to a restaurant in Fargo called Spitfire.  It was a woodfire grill place and it was soooooooooo good.  Yes, with that many 'o's.  I had a Southwest style Wrap and waffle fries.  I'm starting to salivate just typing that.  We should go back there sometime.  Good idea, Emily.

But yeah, that's pretty much my life and what I've been up to the last month.  Sorry it's not more exciting.  I wish it was.  Although I do have a kind of fun spring break plans coming up soon in March that I'm sure I'll write about :)

What have you been up to?

  1. Hmm it appears like your website ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I'll just sum it up
what I wrote and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog.

I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I'm still new to
everything. Do you have any helpful hints for beginner
blog writers? I'd genuinely appreciate it.

    1. I apologize I din't see this earlier!
Hmmm I am trying to figure out this whole "blogging" thing too, but I would love to share some tips that I have found useful.
      1. Write about things that interest you. Things that excite you! Because that engages your audience.
      2. I would also highly recommend using photos and graphics.
      3. Another piece of advice is to be consistent (at least 1x per week)!

      I hope this helps a little :)
