Hey y'all.

Major life update for you....  I GOT A NEW JOB!

So I guess start from the beginning...

I graduated college in May 2016 with a degree in Computer Information Systems.  Pretty decent major that could go in a variety of different areas.  But I think that is one of the problems with someone who doesn't know what they want to do after they graduate.  There were TOO many options.  So a couple of months of enjoying no school/unemployment in the summer I got a "full-time" job at a bank doing teller things.  Not exactly what I wanted to do...but I figured it would be better to work and make some money while I continued to find a better job.  As well as my government student loan was starting it's repayment period.

As far as the bank job goes, I learned A. LOT.  I never really knew what went on behind the scenes of a bank.  I just assumed the money went here to there without any problems, but I now realize how complicated it is.  I didn't particularly like the job itself, but I loved the people I worked with and I hope we continue hanging out in the future (we're actually all going out to dinner this week!)

Soooo I continued looking for jobs.  Many job interviews and months laters, I finally got set up with a second job interview on location.  I remember by so nervous for this second interview because, well, I didn't want to mess this one up.  The job is a business application administrator for a credit union, so something I felt like I could be good at doing. The interview lasted about 2 hours, which I took for a good sign because some interviews I have had only lasted about 20 minutes.  Apparently it was a good sign, because she called the next day and offered me the job! :)  WOOOOOO!!!

I started full time last week and I have been full on training.  Oh boy, do I feel like my head's about to explode!  But I guess that's all apart of starting a new job.  I'm so excited guys!!!  It's so nice to have a nice adult job to jumpstart my career!

Talk to you soon x
