Wisconsin Dells | Spring Break

We were itching to do something over Spring Break and decided to go somewhere we haven't gone in years...Wisconsin Dells!

We decided on Wisconsin Dells over anywhere else mostly because it was only a 3 and a half hour car ride, and because we were going during the week instead of on the weekend, the price was very good!  My mom decided to be spontaneous and spring for the lakeside condo at Wilderness on the Lake, which is a part of the Wilderness Hotel, Klondike Resort, and the Old West Resort, with the Wilderness on the Lake being a bit more secluded than the other resorts.

Getting ready for the 3 and a half hour car ride!

My sister fell asleep on the trip.  With a blanket over her head.

Lake Delton.  The lake that the resort was located.

One of the many pools at the resorts.  We spent a lot of time at this one.

Our condo was actually really cool.  It had very cabin-y, woodsy vibes which was very cozy.  There was a full size kitchen (with a fridge, oven/stove, and dishwasher), a large living room, two gas fireplaces, a jacuzzi tub overlooking the lake, two queen beds, and a king with a master bathroom, TVs in every room practically.  It was almost TOO much space.

We settled in quickly and headed to the pools!  There were many pools and waterslides.  I could definitely tell though, that these resorts were geared more towards younger kids and families with younger kids.  I enjoyed the lazy river though, expect when accidentally splashed by a kid trying to get on their floaty.

After a couple of days of swimming and hot tubbing (they had a really cool indoor/outdoor hot tub), I was definitely water-logged.  Time to go home!

Spring break went by waaaayyyy too quickly but I had a good time.  If you are looking for a nice weekend trip away, I would recommend checking into the Wisconsin Dells resorts!
