A LOOK AT | Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water

I have been seeing the "micellar cleansing water" trend everywhere, but did not try it until a couple of weeks ago (that gave me a decent amount of time to test out this product).  The product I am talking about today is the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water.

The formulation I got is for sensitive skin.  I think one of the things that attracted me to try micellar water was the concept of cleaning your skin using a liquid-y type cleanser ("water"), whilst also being able to take makeup off.  I wasn't so much interested in the skin portion because I already have a nice cleanser I use to take off my makeup, but I was genuinely interested in how it took of eye makeup (i.e. mascara, eye shadow, eye liner)  I had yet to find a nice eye makeup remover that took it all off without making my eyes feel oily or doing a crappy job taking it off.  I have to say, I was quite impressed with this product.  I put some on a large cotton round and set it on my closed eyelid, pressing firmly (not rubbing!).  Even after that minimal effort, I was pleasantly surprised by how much eye makeup came off initially.  It was amazing!  You do have to be careful not to get it into your actually eyes (obviously haha), as it can sting (I my or may not know from experience...).  I also highly recommend using this product with a large cotton round.

After having some time to try out this product, I give it a thumbs up!  I think it's definitely worth a chance (and it's very inexpensive!).  I can't say that it has made any difference in my skin, but I have loved the way it takes my eye makeup off, and I think buy another when this one's out just for that very reason.
