Life Update | January 2015

Hey everyone!

It's been a while since I just sat down and told you everything that has been going on in my life for the past couple of weeks.  So lettsssaagooo!

I have started back at school for the second semester.  It's only been a couple of weeks but I'm already drowning in endless projects and papers, that it's almost too hard to keep up.  I think that this semester is definitely going to be a lot more difficult than last semester. :(  On the upside, I have been meeting with a career counselor to help find an internship that is required for my major.. We have a couple of great opportunities that we are looking into that I'm really really excited for. I hope it all works out. Keep an eye out for updates on that one. ^_^

In other news, me and a couple of friends decided to sign up for a yoga sculpt class at our fitness center on campus.  Now let me tell you:  I have NEVER done any yoga whatsoever, but I didn't think it would be too bad because I have been running for a while now.  WRONG.
I found that Yoga is very difficult by itself, but when you add intense cardio, horrific squats, and painfully long planks, it is WAYYY more intense.  The morning after our first class, I woke up with all my muscles crying.  It hurt to bend over, to lift my arms, to walk up stairs, but I guess it is a good burn: "No pain, no gain".  Despite the soreness, I am really excited to continue this class.  
Beach body, here I come!!!

My 21st birthday is also coming up alarmingly quick!  Don't worry - I will be posting about that very soon.
